Timberlake Builders ~ Appreciation

As we near completion of our country home in Montana, we are pleased to provide a letter of recommendation on behalf of our contractor, Tom Watters and Timberlake Builders.
When we walked into his Timberlake Builders office two years ago, we then did not realize how lucky we were to have found this contractor. Living then many miles distant in Salt Lake City and lacking building experience, we needed a reliable, honest and capable builder who could provide a full service role. We found that person in Tom.

First, we found he has a background of hands on working experience in construction that enables him to evaluate plans and supervise team members effectively.

He is a perfectionist and expects top quality work from his staff. His expectations were often higher than ours.

We realize now after this building experience how important it is to have a general contractor who can act as a skilled communicator and facilitator in dealing with the architect, decorator, homeowner and others. Our personal communications with him and his office were excellent. Calls were returned promptly and our questions and ideas were checked out and responded to. He went out of his way to be certain of our views and wishes before taking action.

Tom researched projects well, and he never pushed ahead with something until he was comfortable it was the right solution. He is very well organized. When we made our periodic visits to Kalispell he was prepared to use our time effectively.

Tom is creative and possesses good design ability. With this talent he was able to complement and maximize the efforts of our architect and decorator.

Finally, we appreciate the character traits of Tom. We have come to know him as an honest and honorable man. He was always professional, pleasant, and positive in his attitude. We have ended up not only with our dream house, but a valued new friendship with Tom and his family.
